We are pleased to invite you to our annual open call exhibition Passages, supported by the generous sponsorship of Vermeer Partners. The exhibition aims to discover, showcase, and support the creative practices of artists from around the world.
Presenting the works of our 19 finalists, who have been selected for their unique and diverse perspectives, they express their vision of Passages through a wide range of mediums, including painting, video art, sculpture, and installation. By presenting a diverse range of mediums,The exhibition will be a testament to the power of art in reflecting and shaping the world around us Aiming to engage visitors on multiple sensory levels as well as encouraging them to contemplate the connections between art, society, and personal growth.
By utilizing various artistic forms, the exhibition seeks to investigate the idea of progress and personal growth, and how art engages with global events. The exhibition provides an opportunity for artists to present their vision of how art can explore and interact with the evolving world.
The main focus of Passages is to encourage new ways of thinking and feeling, particularly in terms of exploring spatial, physical, and emotional timelines. The aim is to push the boundaries of contemporary art by examining how current histories and personal journeys intersect. The exhibition will delve into the rituals, events, and experiences that shape our paths and the social changes that influence our collective myths.
