Grafton Street Contemporary Art (trading as D Contemporary, thereafter D Contemporary) is a commercial art gallery and exhibition space, showcasing established artists and the best emerging talent and providing private views, special events and exhibitions to its audiences. D Contemporary is a sister company of Strategy International (holding company of The D Group, British Expertise International and The Future Group). We are committed to protecting the privacy of your Personal Data. This document summarises our policies regarding the collection, use and transfer of your Personal Data, the security measures we employ to protect such data and your rights and choices with regard to access or use of such data.

 

Personal Data

We collect a variety of Personal Data in order to provide our membership services. This data is processed on the lawful basis of legitimate interest and is stored in a secure, proprietary and highly confidential database. The data may typically include full name, job title, company name and address, brief biographical information and appropriate contact information. It may also include details of past and future event attendance, a record of our contact history and relevant meeting notes. In addition to information provided by you, we may gather information from publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, Google, Company websites, press and periodicals.

 

Use and Processing of Personal Data

Any Personal Data we collect is used to provide you with a customised experience in our communications to you.

We automatically log Personal Data by means such as programming, or we link information automatically logged by such means with Personal Data about specific individuals. We do so for the following purposes:

We will use your contact information to send you information about Strategy International, the products and services offered to members both on- and offline. These third parties have contracted with us to only use Personal Data for the agreed upon purpose, and not to sell your Personal Data to third parties, and not to disclose it to third parties except as permitted by us or as stated in this Privacy Policy, or as may be required by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

 

How Long We Keep your Data

We will generally keep your Personal Data for no longer than 10 years after which it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the purpose(s) for which it was obtained.

In the case of direct communications, such as event invitations, we will provide you with a method to opt out of receiving further communications. If you wish to contact us regarding our use of your Personal Data or object to the processing of your Personal Data, please contact us by using this form. If you contact us, please state the specific information you would like us to correct, update or delete and include a proper identification of you. Requests to delete Personal Data will be subject to any applicable legal and ethical reporting or document filing or retention obligations imposed on us. When asked to remove a record from our database, we may retain minimal information to ensure we do not contact you or collect such information again.
